He received his BS Econ from Montana State University at Bozeman, in 1972; his MS Ag Econ from Montana State University at Bozeman, in 1973; and his PhD Ag Econ from the University of California at Davis, in 1978. His research interests include demand analysis, marketing margins, international trade, market supply and demand, and agricultural policy./p pNicholas E. Piggott since 1997, has been an Assistant Professor in the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics, North Carolina State University, Raleigh. He received his B Ag Econ (with First Class Honors) from the University of New England, NSW, Australia, in 1992; his MSc from the University of California at Davis, in 1994; and his PhD from the University of California at Davis in 1997.
