SHORT DESCRIPTION OF THE INSTITUTION:

The UAEU Libraries provide a wide-range of resources and services to support the learning, teaching and research needs of the University community. The United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) offers a comprehensive program of undergraduate and graduate programs in English and in Arabic (e.g. Law and Emirati Studies). The UAEU aims to be a research-intensive university with nine Colleges: Humanities and Social Sciences; Law; Food & Agriculture; Medicine & Health sciences; Business & Economics; Engineering; Science; IT; Education, the College of Graduate Studies; and a number of Research Centres including the Space Science Center and the Science & Innovation Park.

Currently, UAEU has two libraries – namely the Main Library (Crescent Building) and the Medical Library (College of Medicine and Health Sciences) that serve UAEU students, faculty, staff and community users.
