Founded in 1985, RERO (acronym for REseau Romand) is the library network of Western Switzerland. It is a consortium comprising over 270 academic, research, heritage, public and specialized libraries, used by the political, university and cultural authorities in the French speaking part of Switzerland to manage a documentary policy based on cooperation, and the sharing of resources and services.
