  1. State of New-Hampshire. To the selectmen of [blank] Greeting Pursuant to an act of this state, passed June twenty-first, one thousand seven hundred and ninety-two, directing the mode of choosing representatives to the Congress of the United States, you are hereby required to notify and warn a meeting of the inhabitants of said [blank] qualified as the law directs, giving them fifteen days notice, to assemble in some convenient place in said [blank] on the last Monday in August next, for the purpose of voting, by ballot, for four persons, ... You are to attend said meeting, and, with the moderator, receive said ballots or votes, and in open meeting sort and count the same; ...
