A catalogue of a valuable and extensive collection of ancient and modern prints, the property of a nobleman of high rank. Part the first. Consisting chiefly of the Dutch and Flemish schools, which contain a valuable and interesting series of painters' etchings, including the best works of Berghem, Karl du Jardin, Ruysdael, Ostade, Waterloo, Swaneveldt, &c. Proofs and fine impressions of the principal productions of Visscher and Suyderhoef, a large assemblage of the works of Rubens and Vandyck, by the most celebrated engravers, as well as fine specimens after other painters of the Italian, Dutch and Flemish schools. Some of the finest productions of Goltzius, Saenredam, Muller, &c. including rare proofs and undescribed impressions. A most interesting series of foreign portraits, particularly French, containing all the finest engravings by Nanteuil, Drevet, Edelinck, Poilly, Balechou, Daullé, Wille, &c. &c. many of them in proof states. Engravings by Raffaelle Morghen, comprising nearly the whole of his works, chiefly proofs, or in the most desirable state of impression. Some fine productions of the modern Italian & French schools by Anderloni, Volpato, Desnoyers, Müller, &c. Which, together with the portfolios which contained this collection, will be sold by auction by Mr. Phillips at his Great Rooms, 73, Bond Street, on Monday, the 5th day of May, 1834, and seven following days (Sunday excepted) ...
